Hello Glasgow!
We are The Showroom Collective.
For a long time, we dreamed of a space open after 5pm.
A place to meet, find inspiration, have a cuppa, collaborate, and learn new things. A place to meet at night, without a mandatory pint.
Sound familiar?
So we asked ourselves a simple question: if it’s missing, why not make it?
That’s how The Showroom Collective was born.
We’re a women-led team with backgrounds across art, wellbeing, education, and business, and we decided to build the space we couldn’t find.
We want to create a space that reflects real life in the city and the people who live here. This includes people who are often left out of creative and wellbeing spaces, as well as people who may have a job and a place to live but are still struggling or feeling disconnected. We care about fairness, dignity, and making people feel welcome as they are. Our aim is to offer opportunities to take part, learn, and work in ways that feel realistic and supportive. We believe community spaces should be shaped by everyday experience, and that access to creativity, support, and connection should be open to more people.
Why The Showroom?
Life moves fast, and sometimes it’s the small, simple things at home that make the biggest difference.
We aim to showcase Scottish-made products and demonstrate how small, affordable choices can improve everyday living.
We want to break barriers around access, cost, and confidence, making it easier for people to get out, connect, learn, and feel welcome.
This will support local businesses while offering affordable ways to make everyday life feel a bit better.
