We are proud to partner with the Ukrainian Scottish Council, an organisation that supports the Ukrainian community in Scotland, promotes cultural understanding, and provides essential support services.
We were also involved in the early stages of creating the Family Hub, with whom we continue to work closely and with great enthusiasm. The Family Hub continues to play an important role in supporting the Ukrainian community to adapt to life in Scotland and to build strong, meaningful connections with one another.
Building on this work, our team went on to establish a large community hub at Edward House in the city centre, creating a welcoming space for everyone. With the generous support of SCVO, we were able to support hundreds of Ukrainians, assisting with documentation, access to housing, food provision, essential gadgets, and clothing, as well as organising English language classes to support integration into the community.
Our goals by the end of 2026
Discover where The Showroom Collective CIC is heading and what’s coming next.
To open a space and a wee cafe that stays open late for local folks
To work with local traders and charity shops, using creative installations to show how small changes can make spaces feel inclusive and warm
To run regular health and wellbeing classes in collaboration with local professionals
Benefits
Discover the unique benefits of engaging with The Showroom Collective CIC:
Inclusive Environment
A space where you don’t need to fit in first
Come as you are. No expectations, no pressure to know anyone.
We keep things open and respectful so people can settle in at their own pace.
Each session includes a few free places. You can request one and we offer them in order, fairly.
Community Connection
Connection that happens naturally
People meet through being in the same space, over time.
Some come for a class, some stay for a chat, some just sit with a tea.
It grows from there.
Expert-led Sessions
Real people leading each session
Sessions are run by experienced practitioners who care about the room they create.
You can join in, take it slow, or just get familiar.
Everyone finds their own way into it.
Accessible Venue
Easy to come, easy to stay
Central locations, simple to reach after work, study, or with kids.
You can drop in, stay for a bit, or spend the evening here.
